We are hiring a Psychiatric Social Worker for our Sulur campus. This is a residential post with accommodation and food provided. You will work alongside our psychiatrist, clinical psychologist and nursing team in a full multidisciplinary setup.
What you will do
Psychosocial assessment at admission, including family, occupational and substance use history
Daily group therapy, relapse prevention and psychoeducation sessions
Individual counselling and family counselling
Supervise residents' personal hygiene, self-care and daily activity schedules
Maintain case files, progress notes and discharge summaries to MHA 2017 standards
Discharge planning, aftercare and follow-up
Participate in ward rounds and case conferences
What we are looking for
MSW,
preferably with Medical & Psychiatric Social Work specialisation
Freshers welcome. 1 to 3 years in a de-addiction or psychiatric setting is an advantage
Fluent Tamil, working English for documentation
Comfortable with digital record entry
