Monitor production processes and ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Allocate manpower and machines according to production requirements.
Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, manpower, machines, and other resources.

Manpower

Management
Supervise and guide production operators, workers, and helpers.
Prepare shift-wise manpower allocation and work schedules.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and productivity of shop-floor employees.
Train and guide workers on production processes and SOPs.
Identify manpower requirements and coordinate with HR/management.
Quality

Control
Ensure production is carried out according to defined quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate with the Quality team to identify and resolve quality issues.
Minimize rejection, rework, and production defects.
Ensure proper documentation of quality-related issues and corrective actions.
Machine & Maintenance Coordination
Monitor machine performance and identify breakdowns or abnormalities.




Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Minimize machine downtime and production losses.
Ensure operators follow proper machine operating procedures.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety rules and company policies.
Conduct regular checks of the production floor for safety hazards.
Ensure employees use appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.
Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe working conditions immediately.
Production

Planning & Reporting
Coordinate with the Production Manager for daily and weekly production planning.
Monitor actual production against planned targets.
Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and productivity reports.
Track key production metrics and highlight deviations to management.
Maintain proper production records and documentation.
Process

Improvement
Identify prospects to improve productivity, efficiency, and production capacity.
Reduce material wastage, rejection, rework, and downtime.
Suggest improvements in production processes and workflow.
