Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage 3D powertrain packaging and vehicle integration concepts.
Work on packaging of engine, transmission, e-drive, battery, cooling, fuel, exhaust and driveline systems.
Perform DMU/DPA studies and static/agile clearance and interference checks.
Apply GD&T;, dimensional analysis and tolerance stack-up/VSA techniques.
Optimize designs for space, weight, manufacturability, serviceability and assembly.
Support powertrain redesigns based on vehicle, homologation and engineering requirements.
Manage engineering changes and 2D/3D CAD releases using CATIA V5 and Teamcenter/PLM.
Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve design and integration issues.
Support activities from concept development through validation and production.
