Role & responsibilities

Manager Project Accounting / CAPEX Finance role in an airport company.

The person will mainly manage the financial side of large CAPEX projects — budgeting, project cost tracking, cash flow, capitalization, Fixed Asset Register, asset verification, insurance and management MIS.

In straightforward terms, you need someone who can:

Manage CAPEX budgets and actual spending

Track project costs and analyse budget vs. actual variance

Prepare CAPEX MIS and management reports

Manage capitalisation of projects/assets

Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register (FAR)

Handle CWIP Fixed Asset capitalization

Manage physical verification and tagging of assets

Coordinate asset insurance

Support AERA/MYTP and regulatory submissions

Work with SAP FI/MM

Coordinate with CFO, auditors, project teams, procurement and business HODs

Drive process automation / SAP S4 HANA improvements

Ideal experience: CA/CMA + 10–15 years, preferably robust exposure to CAPEX accounting/project finance + fixed assets, rather than a pure financial accounting or taxation profile.
