Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities as per departmental scope.
Perform and supervise image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures when credentialed.
Ensure timely reporting of investigations and communicate critical findings promptly to referring clinicians.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical management.
Maintain high standards of image quality, radiation safety, and patient safety practices.
Participate in departmental quality assurance, audit activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, AERB, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Supervise, guide, and train radiographers, residents, fellows,



and other departmental staff.
Participate in clinical meetings, tumor boards, case discussions, and academic activities.
Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, reports, and imaging data confidentiality.
Assist in protocol development and optimization of imaging procedures.
Provide emergency and on-call radiology services as per departmental roster.
Monitor appropriate utilization of imaging resources and equipment.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with biomedical and service teams for resolution.
Contribute to research activities, publications, and continuing medical education programs.
