Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular IPD rounds and monitor patients' clinical condition.
Maintain accurate and updated case sheets, treatment records and medical documentation.
Provide appropriate medical assistance during emergencies and acute medical conditions.
Coordinate with Ayurvedic physicians, nurses, Panchakarma therapists and other healthcare staff.
Supervise administration of prescribed medicines and treatments.
Monitor patients undergoing Panchakarma and other Ayurvedic procedures, within the scope of training and authorization.
Ensure compliance with hospital infection-control, safety and clinical protocols.
Maintain proper documentation of admissions, discharges, treatment progress and clinical incidents.
Remain available for residential/on-call duties as per the hospital duty roster.
Preferred candidate profile
Knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment principles.
Familiarity with Panchakarma procedures and Ayurvedic hospital protocols.
Ability to identify clinical deterioration and respond appropriately.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Valuable documentation and record-keeping skills.
Willingness to work rotational, night and emergency duties.
Ability to work independently while taking guidance from senior consultants.
