Sales Assistant / Cash Counter

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Sales Assistant / Cash Counter Executive to handle billing, cash transactions, customer service, and day-to-day counter operations. The candidate should have good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and a positive attitude toward customers.

Key Responsibilities
Handle cash counter and billing operations accurately.
Generate bills and process cash, card, UPI, and other payments.
Greet customers and assist them with product selection and queries.
Maintain proper cash records and ensure accurate cash handling.
Support daily sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
Maintain product display, cleanliness, and proper arrangement at the counter.
Check product availability and coordinate with the store team for replenishment.
Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when required.
Assist with opening and closing counter procedures.
Maintain daily sales and cash reconciliation records.




Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and store policies.

Requirements
minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in retail, cashier, or cash counter operations.
Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
Basic computer knowledge.
Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to handle cash and billing accurately.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
