Role & responsibilities
Perform automated and manual security testing of applications, APIs, and code.
Support AI initiatives by establishing secure development practices and safeguards.
Administer and maintain application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection).
Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities and integrate security into workflows.
Contribute to security engineering automation and DevSecOps practices.
Research emerging threats, tools, and techniques to improve processes.
Prioritize and track remediation efforts with development teams.
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

Preferred candidate profile
5 to 8 years of experience in application security, secure software development, or QA automation.
Hands-on development experience (.NET, Angular, C#, JavaScript preferred).
Solid knowledge of web application vulnerabilities and remediation methods.
Experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
Familiarity with Azure settings and CI/CD platforms.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
