Role - Senior HMI Developer - Android Automotive (AAOS)

Experience - 6 to 9 years

Location - Chennai (Hybrid)
Develop Android Automotive OS (AAOS) HMI applications for vehicle infotainment and cluster displays.
Build user interfaces using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
Implement and maintain Bluetooth (Classic/BLE) and Wi-Fi connectivity features.
Design AIDL/Binder IPC solutions for communication between system apps and services.
Develop responsive, real-time applications using Coroutines, Flow, and multithreading.
Integrate vehicle data from CAN/CAN FD networks and Vehicle HAL into HMI applications.
Optimize application performance, stability, and system reliability.
Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable code through reviews and best practices.
Collaborate with platform, embedded, QA, UX, and hardware teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
Work with Android system-level components, privileged APIs, and automotive-specific frameworks.
