Role Description
This is a full-time, in office role for a Special Educator, located in Chennai.
The Special
Educator will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans for students with disabilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning workplace, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other education professionals. Daily tasks include teaching and mentoring students in middle school,
developing specialized teaching strategies, and ensuring effective communication to support students’ holistic development.
Qualifications
Experience in Special Education and familiarity with working with differently-abled individuals
Proficiency in Teaching and mentoring middle school-aged students
Robust Communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues
Understanding of educational practices and strategies for children with Disabilities
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with special needs
Relevant certification or degree in Special Education or related field
Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is an advantage
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
