The SSTL coordinates DREs and cross-functional teams to deliver technical, cost, quality, and timing targets (QCTP). Key Responsibilities.

Lead design, development, validation, and industrialization of mechanical/mechatronic components. Coordinate DREs and cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones. Drive engineering changes, technical feasibility, cost reduction, and Design-to-Cost (DTC) activities.

Assess cost and technical impacts of proposed changes and prioritize actions against targets. Consolidate cost forecasts, cost book, QCTP status, and gap tracking. Drive cost convergence, escalate gaps, and prepare inputs for management/Steering decisions.

Ensure approved changes and savings are implemented according to HW/SW release and program timing.
