Implements and maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards
Act as an advocate for patients; ensure a patient centered approach to the delivery of care.
Greets patients and welcomes them to the unit. Participate in providing a better patient experience.
Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care
Administer medications as advised by the consultant. Ensures all medications are administered and charted according to established policies and protocols.
Arranges for diagnostic tests with other departments. Observe patient for changes in condition.




Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care
Observes, records and reports patient’s condition to physicians. Maintain explicit and legible patient records in accordance with skilled standards.
Provide immediate care during medical emergencies, discuss the treatment with clinical pharmacist and physician in the critical cases, and provide necessary guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention
