Veritas Furniture is looking for a detail-oriented Tally Operator to manage day-to-day accounting and inventory entries at our Kolkata manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Record daily purchase, sales, and expense entries in Tally ERP/Tally Prime
Maintain accurate stock and inventory records for raw materials and finished goods
Prepare and reconcile ledgers, journals, and bank statements
Generate GST-related reports and assist with GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
Track accounts payable and receivable
Coordinate with the accounts and production teams to ensure accurate stock valuation
Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports and stock summaries
Maintain proper documentation for audits
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience working with Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
Proficiency in MS Excel
Valuable numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
Experience in a manufacturing or furniture industry setup
Familiarity with inventory/stock management modules in Tally
Basic knowledge of e-way bill generation
