Key Responsibilities:
Lead the technical function for garment product development from initial concept to production.
Review and ensure accuracy of tech packs, measurements, specifications, construction details and BOMs.
Ensure garments meet buyer requirements, quality standards and approved specifications.
Coordinate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production and Quality teams.
Review samples, fit, construction and workmanship and provide technical comments for corrections.
Conduct and manage fit sessions, pre-production meetings and sample approvals.
Identify technical issues during development and provide effective solutions.
Ensure correct garment construction, stitching techniques, trims, accessories and finishing.
Work closely with factories/vendors to resolve production-related technical issues.
Ensure compliance with buyer standards and applicable garment quality requirements.
Support product development teams in improving fit, construction, quality and cost efficiency.




Review and approve technical specifications before bulk production.
Manage and guide the technical team and ensure timely completion of development activities.

Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of garment construction, pattern, fit and measurements.
Excellent understanding of woven/knit garment manufacturing.
Good knowledge of tech packs, specifications, BOM, POM and grading.
Experience working with international buyers / US / UK / European brands.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Valuable coordination and communication skills.
Experience in an apparel export house / buying house / garment manufacturing setup is preferred.

Key Requirements: 10 to 15 years of relevant experience

Robust technical knowledge of garments

International buyer/export-house experience preferred

Strong team management and coordination skills

Ability to independently handle technical issues from development to bulk production
