Key Responsibilities:
Perform database testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
Create and run SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Identify, track, and report defects through the defect management lifecycle.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Validate data flow between applications, APIs, and databases.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and testing activities.
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in Database Testing and API Testing.
Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
Experience in validating complex data transformations and backend processes.
Knowledge of Banking or Corporate Banking domain.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
Valuable understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to automation testing tools.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
