Role & responsibilities:

Accountability: The Shift Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations during the assigned shift by ensuring excellent guest service, supervising frontline employees, maintaining food quality, managing peak-hour operations, and ensuring compliance with Paradise operating standards.

Major Deliverables:
Restaurant Operations
Support the Restaurant Manager in daily restaurant operations.
Ensure smooth opening, mid-shift, and closing activities.
Monitor service quality and operational standards.
Ensure compliance with Paradise SOPs.
Supervise Front of House and Kitchen coordination.
Shift Operations
Manage the restaurant during the assigned shift.
Ensure smooth shift opening and closing.
Monitor service quality.
Ensure SOP compliance.
Peak Hour Operations
Lead the team during lunch and dinner rush.
Ensure quick table allocation.
Monitor guest waiting time.
Coordinate with kitchen for faster service.
Maintain smooth dine-in operations.
Guest Experience
Welcome guests warmly.
Ensure prompt service.
Handle customer complaints immediately.
Escalate unresolved issues to the ARM/RM.
Collect guest feedback.




Team Supervision
Supervise Team Members, Captains, and Stewards.
Allocate duties.
Monitor attendance and punctuality.
Ensure proper grooming.
Conduct pre-shift briefings.
Customer Grievance Handling
Resolve guest concerns professionally.
Ensure service recovery.
Record guest complaints.
Follow up until resolution.
Sales Support
Drive suggestive selling.
Improve Average Bill Value.
Support achievement of daily sales targets.
Food Safety & Hygiene
Ensure kitchen and dining hygiene.
Monitor food quality.
Ensure PPE and sanitation compliance.
Maintain cleanliness.
Store Improvement
Identify operational gaps.
Improve service speed.
Reduce guest waiting time.
Support audit compliance.
Inventory Support
Verify stock availability.
