Job Overview

AlightWay Solutions is hiring a Video Editor Intern for a 3-month unpaid internship. You will work directly on live client video content reels, promotional videos, and social media edits giving you real-world editing experience rather than practice assignments.

Youll work closely with our content and marketing team to turn raw footage into polished, publish-ready videos across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and client websites.

Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into short-form and long-form videos for live client projects
Add transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, and background music/sound design
Color correct and color grade footage for consistent visual quality
Optimize video formats and aspect ratios for different platforms (Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Collaborate with content writers and designers to align video output with campaign goals
Organize and manage project files and version history

Upon successful completion of the internship,



you will receive a Certificate of Completion and finished project work for your editing reel.

Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Media, Mass Communication, or related field (or equivalent self-taught experience)
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
Basic understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social-media-first editing styles
A demo reel or sample edited videos to showcase current skill level
Familiarity with motion graphics (After Effects) is a plus, not mandatory
Solid attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Own laptop/PC capable of running editing software smoothly
Available to commit to the internship for 3 months
