Role & responsibilities
Plans and executes daily HPDC production schedules, allocating machines, dies and manpower to meet targets.
Sets and optimizes casting parameters (pressure, temperature, cycle time) and validates them through trial runs.
Inspects castings for defects (porosity, flash, shrinkage) and drives root cause corrective actions with QA.
Coordinates machine/die maintenance, supervises operators and enforces safety and SOP compliance.
Leads process improvements (Kaizen, cycle time/scrap reduction) and maintains production/MIS reports.
