Registered Nurse (KNC) LDR/LDRP

Location: Aster RV Hospital, JP Nagar, Bengaluru

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM

Registration: Valid Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC) Registration mandatory

Key Responsibilities
Provide quality nursing care to patients in the LDR/LDRP unit.
Monitor maternal and fetal vitals during labour and delivery.
Assist doctors during normal and high-risk deliveries and obstetric procedures.
Handle and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and clinical records.
Follow infection control, patient safety and hospital protocols.
Coordinate with obstetricians, neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team.
Educate patients and attendants on postpartum care and breastfeeding.

Desired Profile
2–5 years of relevant experience in LDR/LDRP, Labour Room or Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Solid clinical and emergency-handling skills.
Positive communication and teamwork.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
