Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, taxation, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of accounting principles and experience with Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain ledger accounts and bank reconciliations.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Prepare GST returns and assist with tax-related documentation and filings.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants,



banks, vendors, and other stakeholders when required.
Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable statutory requirements.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent.
Experience: 37 years of relevant accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of MARG / ERP and MS Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate: Experience in the pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
