Read and understand fabrication drawings, measurements, and work instructions. Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding as required. Cut, fit, align, and assemble metal components accurately. Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting machines, and other tools safely.
Check dimensions, alignment, weld quality, and finished components. Perform grinding, drilling, filing, and finishing work as required. Maintain proper housekeeping and follow workplace safety procedures.
Identify welding/fitting defects and correct them as required.
