Physical Education Teacher (PET) - MaduraiAmrita Vidyalayam, Madurai is seeking an energetic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher (PET) to join our team. We are looking for a full time qualified who is passionate about promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and the overall well-being of students.

Responsibilities
Plan and conduct physical education classes for students
Organize sports activities, games, and fitness programs
Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports
Promote teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits
Prepare students for inter-school competitions and events
Ensure safety standards during all physical activities
Maintain sports equipment and playground facilities

Qualifications Skills
Bachelor s (B.P.Ed) or Master s (M.P.Ed) in Physical Education
Prior experience as a PET in a school is preferred




Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and physical training techniques
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and actively engage students
Basic knowledge of first aid and safety practices
Passion for student development and physical wellness
