Role & responsibilities
Operate and monitor fire hydrant, sprinkler and firefighting systems.
Inspect fire pumps, jockey pumps, hydrant valves, hose reels and fire tanks.
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of firefighting equipment.
Monitor fire pump room and ensure pumps are maintained in operational condition.
Check water pressure, valves, pipelines and related equipment.
Attend fire alarms and support emergency response procedures.
Conduct fire pump testing and maintain inspection records.
Report faults, leakages and equipment issues to the supervisor.
Support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
Follow fire safety procedures and site regulations.
