Job Overview

As a member of the Qualcomm WIN Customer Engineering Team, the Engineer III

will be responsible for customerspecific software customizations and issue

resolution for WiFi6 / WiFi7 Access Point and WLAN chipsets.

This role involves handson development, debugging and integration of

customerdriven software changes, including configuration updates, feature

adaptations, performance tuning and stability fixes across WLAN SoCs. The

engineer will work closely with customers, internal software development teams

and system test teams to analyze issues, implement targeted solutions, validate

fixes and support customer deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and validate customerspecific software customizations across

WLAN platforms

• Perform endtoend debugging and log analysis for functional, performance,

and stability issues

• Support AP bringup, management path and data path workflows

• Customize and tune advanced WLAN features based on customer

requirements

• Debug issues related to networking stacks, offload protocols and

driverfirmware interaction

Skills / Experience:





• 812 years of handson experience in WLAN / Linux driver development.

• Robust C / C++ programming and debugging skills

• Experience with ARMbased Linux system software

• Familiarity with software customization, configuration management and

integration

• Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce)

• Valuable understanding of WLAN driver

• Robust written and verbal communication skills

• Handson knowledge of OpenWrt (build system, package management, DTS,

kernel integration) is an added advantage

• Prior experience with Qualcomm WiFi chipsets and QSDKbased platforms is

highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field with 4+

years relevant experience

OR Master’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience

OR PhD with 2+ years relevant experience

• 5+ years of experience in C/C++/Python or similar programming languages

• 4+ years of handson debugging experience with WLAN driver development.
