Job Description: Freelance QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing Execution
Test Design: Author detailed, logical test plans, boundary cases, and equivalence class suites.
Functional Testing: Perform exploratory, regression, smoke, and sanity testing on web/mobile apps.
API Validation: Validate REST/GraphQL endpoints using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
Defect Tracking: Log explicit bugs with logs, DevTools snippets, and reproduction steps in Jira.
Automation Engineering
Framework Management: Write and maintain scalable, clean UI automation test scripts.
Script Development: Translate high-priority manual test suites into reliable automated workflows.
CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Hook test suites into pipelines for automated builds.
Backend Validation: Implement automated database asserts and backend verification scripts.
