In this role, the engineer will work as part of an Agile team supporting backend services for the client's policy and claims system, contributing across both legacy and modern platforms. Approximately 65% of the role will focus on Azure, with the movement of legacy systems into the cloud, 25% on .NET development, and about 10% on SQL work. The engineer will participate in daily stand‑ups, work within two‑week sprint cycles, and deliver into monthly production releases. Day to day, this individual will design, develop, and enhance backend functionality using C# and .NET, collaborate with team members to implement scalable solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and help evolve the platform toward more cloud‑native architectures. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has great communication skills, and can work independently.
