Job Description: Metal Quality Control Professional

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Metal Quality Control Skilled to oversee and ensure the integrity of our metal production and fabrication processes. This pivotal role involves rigorous inspection of materials and finished goods to verify compliance with strict quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in dimensional analysis and metallurgical evaluation to identify defects, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high levels of operational efficiency within the IT Services sector. This position is critical for minimizing waste, ensuring product reliability, and upholding our commitment to excellence in metal and alloy handling.

Responsibilities

- Conduct precise dimensional inspections of metal components using specialized tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and weighing scales.

- Perform comprehensive quality checks throughout the production lifecycle, including casting, sheet metal forming, and fabrication stages.

- Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation to track product conformance and historical data.

- Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conforming products and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Manage the identification, segregation,



and handling of rejected items to prevent accidental use in final assembly.

- Execute routine production process inspections to verify adherence to established quality protocols and safety guidelines.

- Apply specialized knowledge in jewellery, casting, sheet metal, and fabrication techniques to evaluate material quality and structural integrity.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Possess a minimum of 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience specifically in Metal Quality Control and inspection.

- Demonstrate proven proficiency in utilizing precision measurement instruments including Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and weighing scales.

- Have a strong background in producing and managing quality documentation and inspection reports.

- Exhibit expertise in conducting Root Cause Analysis and executing Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.

- Show practical experience in production process inspection, rejection handling, and managing non-conformance issues.

- Hold relevant industry experience in sectors such as jewellery, casting, sheet metal, or general fabrication.

- Understand the principles of Metal Quality Inspection, Quality Control (QC), and Metal & Alloy Inspection.

- Be familiar with the specific requirements of the IT Services industry regarding quality assurance standards.
