Internship Description

This is a part-time, remote, unpaid Web Developer Internship at HELLO TECH. The internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience by contributing to real-world web development projects and working with modern technologies.

The intern will have opportunities to contribute to front-end and back-end development, build responsive user interfaces, develop application features, work with databases and APIs, integrate AI-powered functionality, implement authentication and OTP verification, and assist with deploying and maintaining web applications.

The internship also involves working with Git and GitHub, understanding existing codebases, troubleshooting technical issues, improving application functionality, and learning practical software development workflows.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a good practical understanding of:

- HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- TypeScript
- React.js and Next.js
- Front-end development and responsive UI design
- Back-end development and API integration
- REST APIs and third-party API integration
- AI API integration and AI-powered application development
- Prisma ORM
- PostgreSQL and SQL
- Authentication and authorization
- OTP-based verification and secure user authentication
- Git and GitHub, including repositories, branching, commits, pull requests, and basic collaboration workflows
- Web hosting and deployment
- Domains, DNS, SSL, and basic web infrastructure concepts




- Debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and writing maintainable code

Preferred Skills

- Experience building full-stack applications with Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL
- Understanding of authentication systems and secure application practices
- Experience integrating AI APIs into web applications
- Familiarity with deployment platforms and production environments
- Understanding of APIs, databases, and frontend-backend communication
- Ability to understand an existing codebase and make changes without unnecessarily affecting existing functionality
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different projects
