About the Role

Tekstar Distribution Private Limited is looking for a hands-on Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations. You will take full ownership of inventory, warehouse efficiency, dispatch, process discipline and service levels.

The ideal candidate has strong operational expertise, plans well, and holds teams accountable while coordinating smoothly with warehouse, logistics, sales, procurement, finance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

· Own day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

· Keep the warehouse well organised to make the best use of space and manpower.

· Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment with minimal errors.

Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile physical stock with system stock regularly.

· Track stock ageing, slow-moving items and damaged goods, and recommend corrective action.

· Run cycle counts and periodic stock audits, report discrepancies on time and put preventive measures in place.

Logistics & Distribution

· Plan dispatch schedules for timely delivery to customers and distributors.

· Monitor transporter performance, freight costs and delivery timelines.

· Resolve logistics issues early to avoid delays and complaints.

Process & Reporting

· Develop and implement warehouse SOPs and best practices.

· Drive process improvements that raise productivity and reduce costs.

· Ensure proper documentation for inward, outward, stock transfers and returns.

· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, and track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, dispatch turnaround,



order fulfilment, stock ageing and productivity.

· Escalate and resolve operational issues promptly.

Team Management

· Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff.

· Allocate work well and monitor team productivity.

· Build a culture of accountability, discipline and teamwork.

Compliance & Safety

· Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs and statutory requirements.

· Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and security, in line with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Graduate in any discipline (Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred).

· 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.

· Strong knowledge of inventory systems (ERP/WMS), warehouse operations and supply chain processes.

· Experience running high-volume warehouses in Consumer Durables, Electronics, FMCG or Distribution.

· Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proven leadership and people management ability.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse reporting tools.
