Job Purpose To develop, enhance, and maintain the Institute’s web platforms and applications by leveraging front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring reliable, secure, user-friendly, and high-performing digital experiences for internal and external stakeholders

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance websites and web applications.
- Translate business requirements, UI/UX designs, and wireframes into functional and responsive web pages.
- Develop front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive front-end development practices.
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using Drupal and WordPress CMS.
- Develop and customize Drupal modules, themes, templates, configurations, and integrations based on business requirements.
- Develop and customize WordPress plugins, themes, configurations, and integrations based on business requirements.
- Perform Drupal and WordPress upgrades, migrations, security updates, and ongoing maintenance.
- Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end systems, databases, REST APIs, and third-party services.
- Work with MySQL and relational databases, including queries, data management, and optimization.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Implement SEO, accessibility, web standards, security, and performance optimization best practices.
- Test, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end, PHP, Drupal, WordPress, database, and integration issues.
- Participate in website upgrades, migrations,



security improvements, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards, documentation, security, and development best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, IT teams, vendors, and all stakeholders throughout the website development lifecycle.
- Ensure websites comply with the organization's branding, accessibility, security, usability, and technical standards.
- Stay updated with new programming languages, frameworks, development tools, and emerging web technologies relevant to organizational requirements.

Key Skill and Ability Required

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong hands-on experience in PHP, Drupal, and WordPress development.
- Good knowledge of Drupal CMS, custom module development, theming, configuration, upgrades, migration, and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of WordPress CMS, plugin development, theming, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
- Robust knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive front-end development.
- Good knowledge of MySQL and REST API integration.
- Experience in website security, performance optimization, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience in website architecture, debugging, code review, and developing scalable and maintainable web applications.
- Ability to analyze requirements, provide technical solutions, and estimate development efforts.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate effectively with internal teams and all stakeholders.




- Willingness and ability to learn and adopt new programming languages, frameworks, tools, and emerging web technologies.
- The candidate is also expected to perform other duties as and when assigned.

Qualification and Personal Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience in web development, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in PHP, Drupal, and WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive front-end development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize responsive and high-performance websites and web applications.

Kindly provide a link to your current portfolio or relevant web projects developed within the last 2–3 years. Compensation The selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis with a consolidated monthly salary (CTC). The contract is renewable based on satisfactory performance.

While the final compensation will be determined by the candidate’s profile, the indicative remuneration is ₹8.85 Lakhs per annum, plus additional benefits.
