Role & responsibilities

- Assess patients' physical condition, vital signs, symptoms, and nursing care needs.

- Provide direct nursing care to patients as prescribed by the treating physician and nursing care plan.

- Monitor and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pain score, and other relevant observations.

- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments in accordance with authorized orders and hospital protocols.

- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, treatments, and emergency interventions.

- Identify and promptly report changes in a patient's condition to the treating physician and nursing supervisor.

- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, where applicable.

- Support patient admission, transfer, discharge, and referral procedures.

- Ensure timely escalation of critical conditions and participate in emergency response activities within the scope of competence.
