Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for the role of Vice President – Fund Accounting & Client Management . Based out of our Powai, Mumbai office, you will oversee end-to-end fund accounting delivery, drive strategic client relationships across international jurisdictions, and manage operational teams supporting EMEA and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Client Management & Leadership

Act as the primary executive sponsor and delivery leader for key institutional clients across Private Equity, Debt Funds, and Hedge Funds.

Drive client service levels, monitor operational KPIs/SLAs, and serve as the single point of contact for strategic client escalations.

Partner with global onshore stakeholders to align operations, expand service offerings, and support key client onboarding and migrations.

Fund Accounting Operations & Financial Governance

Oversee end-to-end NAV (Net Asset Value) calculation, financial statement preparation, waterfall computations, and fee calculations for complex fund structures (standalone, master-feeder, and SPVs).





Ensure strict adherence to global regulatory standards, US GAAP, IFRS, and local jurisdiction compliance frameworks.

Lead audit cycles, board reporting, and investor servicing deliverables across all client portfolios.

People & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams of Directors, Managers, and Fund Accountants.

Foster a culture of operational excellence, process optimization, and risk awareness.

Conduct performance evaluations, drive succession planning, and develop domain expertise across the India delivery organization.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Education: Master’s Degree in Finance / MBA/ CA/ICWA. MCom /CPA

Experience: 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, or Financial Operations within Global Capability Centers (GCCs) or specialized third-party fund administrators.

Core Competencies:

Extensive expertise in Private Equity or Hedge Fund accounting models.

Demonstrated experience in direct client management and global stakeholder engagement.

Good to have Hands-on familiarity with fund accounting applications (e.g., Investran, eFront, Geneva, or Yardi).

Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and operational risk management capabilities.
