About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled individual to join our Video Editing Department.

The candidate will support the company's video content by editing short-form and long-form videos, creating engaging visual content, applying transitions and effects, and maintaining consistent brand quality.

The role provides practical exposure to video editing, motion graphics, storytelling, post-production workflows, visual branding, and digital content creation.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing, branding, and company requirements.
- Trim, arrange, and organize raw footage into clear, engaging, and visually appealing videos.
- Add transitions, effects, text, captions, subtitles, graphics, and other visual elements.
- Edit videos for platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, durations, and content requirements.
- Coordinate with social media, content, design, marketing, and other teams on video requirements.
- Select and synchronize music, sound effects, voiceovers, and other audio elements.
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, audio balancing, and visual enhancement.
- Create reels, shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, presentations, and digital content.
- Follow approved brand guidelines, visual standards, communication style, and content requirements.
- Organize project files, footage, assets, graphics, audio, and exported videos systematically.
- Review videos for quality, accuracy, timing, spelling, audio, visuals, and branding before delivery.
- Make revisions based on feedback from the reporting manager and relevant teams.
- Stay updated with video trends, editing styles, formats, transitions, effects, and platform requirements.
- Perform other video editing and post-production tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing,



and visual composition.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, effects, text animation, and visual effects.
- Good understanding of audio editing, music synchronization, voiceovers, and sound effects.
- Basic understanding of colour correction and colour grading.
- Creative thinking and ability to turn raw footage into engaging video content.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Good understanding of social media video formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and durations.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with content, design, social media, marketing, and other teams.
- Ability to manage multiple editing tasks and meet content deadlines.

Preferred Skills Candidates with knowledge or experience in any of the following will have an advantage:
- Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Motion graphics and text animation
- Short-form video and reels editing
- Long-form video editing
- Colour correction and colour grading
- Audio editing and sound design
- Video storytelling and pacing
- Social media video trends and formats

Educational Qualification Communication, Film, Media, Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds with strong editing skills, creativity, and a relevant portfolio may also be considered.
