About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our clinic in Dombivli. You will work closely with our veterinarians to provide quality care to animals, support clinical procedures, and ensure a calm, clean, and efficient treatment environment for pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the veterinarian in physical check-ups and examinations of animals
- Apply plaster casts and splints for fractures and injuries
- Perform bandaging and wound dressing, and monitor healing
- Administer injections and medications as directed by the veterinarian
- Handle and restrain animals safely and gently during procedures
- Maintain hygiene and sterilisation of instruments and treatment areas
- Keep accurate records of treatments and patient progress
- Guide pet owners on post-treatment care when instructed by the doctor

Requirements





- 2-3 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic (mandatory)
- Diploma in Veterinary Assistance / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science (preferred)
- Hands-on skill in plastering, bandaging, injections, dressing, and basic physical examination
- Comfortable handling dogs, cats, and other small animals
- Positive communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and/or English
- Patient, responsible, and punctual, with a genuine love for animals
