We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern to take ownership of real product problems, develop portfolio-worthy work, and learn how digital products are designed and developed within a startup.

Key Responsibilities
Depending on your skills and the product requirements, you may:
- Design mobile and web experiences for students, parents, teachers, counsellors, and schools.
- Translate product requirements into information architecture, user flows, and intuitive well-being workflows.
- Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity UI screens, and interactive Figma prototypes.
- Develop responsive layouts, reusable components, and consistent design systems.
- Improve accessibility, usability,
and age-appropriate engagement through thoughtful micro-interactions.
- Refine existing screens through feedback and iteration.
- Collaborate with developers on handoff, implementation, and product reviews.
How We Will Work
You will receive defined product problems and participate in discussions about user needs, possible solutions, and edge cases before designing screens. For larger features, the process may include:
Problem definition and context → User flow → Wireframe → Feedback → UI design → Prototype → Developer handoff → Product review

Who Should Apply
This role suits college and design students, self-taught or early-career designers, graphic designers moving into UI/UX, and professionals considering a career change into product design.
Previous professional UI/UX experience is not required.
We value your thinking, visual sense, curiosity, consistency, and willingness to improve.
Skills and Qualities We Are Looking For
- Basic Figma skills and an understanding of UI/UX fundamentals.
- An eye for layout, visual hierarchy, typography, color, and spacing.
- Familiarity with components, design consistency, and user-centered thinking.
- Curiosity about user behavior and attention to detail.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to explore and iterate on ideas.
- Transparent communication of design decisions, ownership of tasks, and dependable follow-through.
A professional portfolio is not mandatory.
College or personal projects, Figma experiments, app redesigns, Behance projects, concept work, and case studies are all welcome.
