Role Description The Trainee Automation Engineer role is a full-time hybrid position based in Kolkata, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The role includes assisting in the design, configuration, and testing of automation systems under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily activities involve supporting installation and commissioning of control panels and equipment, monitoring system performance, and documenting technical specifications and test results.

The trainee will help diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, participate in preventive maintenance activities, and learn to use automation and robotics tools. The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams,



following safety and quality standards, and continuously building skills through training and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Automation and Process Control for working with industrial control systems and automated workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering for understanding circuits, control panels, wiring, and industrial electrical safety.
- Candidates should possess skills in Robotics for supporting robot configuration, basic programming, and integration with automation systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting for diagnosing system faults, identifying root causes, and assisting in corrective actions.
