Tissue Machine Operator — Roles & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor tissue paper manufacturing/converting machines safely and efficiently.
Set machine parameters according to the required GSM, ply, size, embossing, and production specifications.
Start, stop, and adjust the machine during production to maintain consistent output.
Monitor paper quality, including softness, strength, absorbency, appearance, and winding.
Check raw materials such as jumbo rolls, virgin pulp-based tissue, cores, and packaging materials.
Identify and correct common machine problems such as paper breaks, wrinkles, uneven winding, misalignment, and poor cutting.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and basic maintenance.
Maintain required production speed while minimizing waste, downtime, and rejected material.
Conduct in-process quality checks and report defects to the supervisor/QC department.
Maintain accurate production, downtime, waste, and shift records.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures.
Ensure proper handling and storage of finished tissue products.
Coordinate with production supervisors, maintenance technicians, and quality-control staff.
Train or assist junior operators/helpers when required.
Follow company procedures for 5S, PPE, fire safety, and machine safety.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
