Test / Integration Engineer

Test Integration Engineer | Pune, India | Full-time If you are passionate about system testing, software integration, and automation technology, this could be an excellent opportunity to build your engineering career while contributing to Vanderlande’s complex material handling and airport automation projects.

Your Role

As a Test Integration Engineer, you will support the testing and integration of Vanderlande’s automated systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to execute test activities, analyse results, identify issues, and support successful system delivery. You will gain hands-on experience across software and system testing, integration activities, FAT/SAT preparation, and customer-site testing.

What you will do / Key Responsibilities

Testing & Integration

- Execute test cases under the guidance of senior Test Integration Engineers.
- Support integration, system, and acceptance testing activities in-house and at customer sites.
- Understand system requirements, test procedures, and expected system behaviour.
- Execute defined test scenarios and accurately record test results.
- Support FAT and SAT preparation and execution.
- Assist with verification of system functionality against defined requirements.
- Support testing activities across software, controls, and other system components.

Troubleshooting & Analysis
- Perform basic troubleshooting of system and software issues identified during testing.
- Analyse logs and test results to help identify potential causes of issues.
- Report defects and deviations clearly to senior engineers.
- Support defect verification after corrective actions have been implemented.

Documentation & Team Support




- Support preparation and maintenance of test cases, test procedures, test reports, and other testing documentation.
- Follow established testing processes, engineering standards, and project procedures.
- Work collaboratively with engineers from different disciplines.
- Communicate testing progress and issues to relevant team members.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and testing skills.

What you bring

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, E&TC;, or Computer

Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software testing, system testing, integration testing, or a related engineering setting.
- Hands-on knowledge of software testing and development life cycles, including V-Model, CMMI, Agile, and test processes.
- Basic understanding of Polarion, Jira, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix.
- Understanding of test cases, test plans, integration plans, and system design documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and willing to learn.
- Willingness to travel extensively based on business requirements and on short notice.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, airport baggage handling, material handling, or distribution systems is an advantage.
