Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Teradata Developer with 5-7 years of expertise in data warehousing and strong hands-on experience in SQL and Teradata utilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions in a Teradata environment

.Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures in Teradata.
- Design and implement productive ETL processes using Teradata utilities.
- Work with large-scale data warehouses to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using tools like BTEQ, MLOAD, and TPT.
- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to understand requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity,



and consistency across systems.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.

Required Skills:

- 5-7 years of experience in Teradata development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).
- Hands-on experience with Teradata utilities:

- BTEQ (Basic Teradata Query)

- MLOAD (MultiLoad)

- TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, SCDs).
- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux scripting (added advantage).
- Experience with data modeling concepts.
