Job Summary

We are looking for a Office Executive Cum Technician to handle both office administration and technical workshop activities related to diesel fuel injection pumps, diesel injectors/nozzles and self-starter/alternator repairing.

The candidate will be responsible for customer coordination, job card preparation, billing and documentation along with assisting in inspection, testing, dismantling, repairing and servicing of diesel fuel system and electrical components.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Office & Customer Coordination

- Attend customers and understand their vehicle/equipment-related complaints.
- Prepare job cards, estimates, invoices and delivery documents.
- Record customer details, vehicle details and repair requirements accurately.
- Coordinate with customers regarding repair status, estimates and delivery.
- Prepare quotations and communicate repair costs to customers.
- Maintain records of incoming and completed jobs.
- Follow up with customers regarding pending approvals and payments.
- Maintain daily sales, job and collection records.
- Handle basic computer operations, MS Excel and office documentation.
- Coordinate with technicians regarding job status and delivery commitments.
- Maintain proper filing of bills, job cards, purchase documents and other records.

Technical / Workshop Responsibilities

- Assist in inspection and diagnosis of diesel fuel injection pumps and injectors/nozzles.
- Assist in dismantling, cleaning, servicing and assembling diesel pumps and injectors.
- Assist in testing and calibration of diesel fuel injection components as per prescribed procedures.
- Identify defective components and report technical issues to the senior technician.
- Assist in repair and servicing of self-starters and alternators.
- Perform basic inspection, testing and troubleshooting of starter/alternator components.
- Assist in checking components such as armature, brushes, bearings, coils, regulators and related parts.
- Maintain proper tools,



equipment and work area.
- Ensure repaired components are properly tested before delivery.
- Follow technical procedures, safety practices and workshop SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and components.
- Coordinate with the Parts/Store team for required components.
- Support senior technicians in complex repair and diagnostic jobs.

Required Skills

- Basic to good knowledge of diesel engines and fuel injection systems.
- Knowledge of diesel pumps, injectors/nozzles and fuel injection components will be preferred.
- Knowledge of starter and alternator repair.
- Positive practical/technical aptitude.
- Good computer knowledge, including MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good customer communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to prepare estimates, job cards and invoices.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work both in the office and workshop environment.
- Responsible, disciplined and willing to learn new technical skills.

Qualification & Experience Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanic, Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical or related trade.

Experience: 1–5 years of relevant experience in diesel pump/injector repair, automobile workshop, starter/alternator repair or similar technical field.

Candidates with experience in Bosch diesel service, fuel injection systems, diesel pump/nozzle repair or commercial vehicle workshops will be preferred.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling both office responsibilities and hands-on technical work. Candidates with practical knowledge of diesel fuel injection systems, pump/nozzle repair and starter/alternator servicing will have an advantage.
