Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced E-Invoicing Integration Specialist to drive end-to-end digital tax compliance and ERP integration projects. As the UAE e-invoicing ecosystem progresses through its pilot and implementation phases, this role will manage everything; from (i) high-level Peppol compliance to (ii) hands-on customer onboarding, (iii) Peppol and Accredited Service Providers
(ASPs) forming the core of the e-invoicing frameworks, (iv) data mapping, and (v) seamless ERP integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Compliance: Configure e-invoicing workflows aligned with UAE FTA mandates, Peppol networks, invoice exchange protocols, AS4, and SMP/SML.
Customer ERP Assessment: Review each customer's ERP infrastructure to identify and establish the suitable connection method.
Data Mapping & Transformation: Map sales invoices, credit notes, customer details, and tax fields into required API and standard UBL/XML formats.
Development & Configuration: Build or configure ERP-side connections to handle automated invoice submissions,
receipt of status updates, and middleware communication.
Testing & Go-Live Support: Conduct rigorous integration testing in sandbox environments,
coordinate with client finance and IT teams, and ensure smooth go-live support.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Core Competencies: Strong background in E-Invoicing, Digital Tax Compliance, and UBL/XML validation standards.
ERP Familiarity: Hands-on experience integrating major enterprise systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle,
Microsoft Dynamics) as well as commercial platforms (such as QuickBooks or Sage).
Connectivity Protocols: Proficiency in REST APIs, web services, SFTP, and integration middleware.
Peppol Standards: Knowledge of Peppol Access Points, AS4, PINT AE, and Peppol BIS standards.
Soft Skills: Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills for managing cross-functional technical issues.
