Dharmalife is seeking a energetic and passionate Teacher & Learning Centre Coordinator to manage the day-to-day functioning and delivery of learning programmes at its community learning centres. The role will be responsible for conducting play-based learning sessions for children aged 3–6 years, coordinating digital learning sessions for children aged 7–14 years, and ensuring learner attendance, engagement, and safety.
The Centre
Coordinator will also engage with parents and the community through home visits, mothers’ meetings, parenting sessions, and other centre-based activities, while managing centre operations, teaching-learning materials, digital equipment, documentation, MIS, and programme reporting. The role will work closely with the central LUYM team, children, parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders to ensure a safe, inclusive, child-friendly environment, adherence to programme standards and SOPs, and effective implementation of Dharmalife’s learning and community programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct daily play-based learning sessions for children aged 3–6 years using the approved curriculum and learning materials. Ensure an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
· Coordinate with the central LUYM team to facilitate digital learning sessions for children aged 7–14 years. Ensure learners attend sessions on time and provide on-site support during programme delivery.
· Organise and facilitate mothers' meetings, parenting sessions, and women's skill development programmes as per the implementation plan.
· Open and close the centre,
ensure timely functioning, maintain daily attendance, registers, documentation, and programme records. (9 am to 6 pm).
· Maintain all teaching-learning materials, toys, books, digital devices, furniture, and consumables. Monitor stock levels and request replenishment when required.
· Monitor the functioning of tablets, laptops, televisions/projectors, internet connectivity, electricity backup, and other digital equipment. Report and escalate technical issues promptly and follow up until resolved.
· Maintain regular communication with programme coordinators, submit reports, participate in review meetings, and implement programme guidance received from the central team.
· Ensure the centre remains clean, child-friendly, and safe. Maintain first aid supplies, drinking water, sanitation facilities, and report any repairs required.
· Conduct regular home visits, interact with parents and caregivers, mobilise children for enrolment and attendance, and strengthen community participation in centre activities.
· Organise celebrations, learning exhibitions, health and nutrition days, parent meetings, community awareness events, and other special activities at the centre.
· Maintain attendance registers,
visitor registers, asset registers, inventory records, training records, photographs, case studies, and programme documentation. Submit reports within prescribed timelines.
· Participate in all trainings, refresher sessions, review meetings, and mentoring visits organised by Dharmalife. Apply learning to improve programme quality.
· Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times. Follow child safeguarding protocols and immediately report any concerns to the programme team.
· Maintain programme quality standards, ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and support monitoring visits by supervisors, donors, and government officials.
Requirement -
1. Marathi Speaking
2. Experience in teaching, early childhood education, or community-based education programmes.
3. Experience working with children and conducting learning activities.
4. Familiarity with digital learning tools and online sessions.
5. Strong communication and community engagement skills.
6. Good documentation, MIS, and reporting skills.
7. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
8. Ability to work with children, parents, and diverse stakeholders.
9. Willingness to work 9 AM–6 PM and travel locally as required.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
