Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor role is a full time, on-site position based in Thrissur. The advisor will guide students through the entire study abroad process, including exploring suitable programs, universities, and countries aligned with their academic backgrounds and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining admission and visa procedures, assisting with application documentation, and coordinating with external institutions or partners as needed.

The advisor will provide clear information on timelines, requirements, and financial considerations, while offering ongoing mentoring and support to students and their families.



The role also involves maintaining accurate records, staying current on international education trends and policies, and contributing to outreach activities, seminars, and workshops that promote study abroad opportunities.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide Educational Consulting and general Consulting support to students seeking study abroad opportunities.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Working knowledge of Visas and related international admission processes to guide students through regulatory and documentation requirements.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and capability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with international education systems, universities, and scholarship opportunities is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in using office software and online communication tools to manage student information and virtual interactions.
- Prior experience in academic advising, counseling, or student services is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social sciences, business, or a related field preferred.
