About the RoleTomorrowTech Engineering Services is looking for a Structural Engineer – Level 2 to independently execute defined structural engineering assignments and take ownership of technically complete project deliverables.

The role involves interpreting project requirements, developing and validating structural models, performing analysis and design checks, preparing review-ready calculations and documentation, and resolving routine technical issues with limited supervision.

Experience in steel and/or tower design will be particularly relevant to this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret project inputs, structural drawings, loading criteria, design requirements, and applicable codes to establish appropriate analysis approaches.
- Develop, validate, and document structural models for telecommunication towers, steel structures, and related foundations.
- Perform member design and utilization checks, foundation reaction checks, connection-related calculations, and other engineering evaluations.
- Prepare technically complete calculation packages, reports, drawings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
- Identify incomplete or conflicting inputs and raise clear technical queries.
- Resolve routine analysis and design issues with limited supervision.
- Conduct first-level reviews of Level 1 models, calculations, drawing markups, and documentation.
- Plan assigned deliverables, coordinate with engineers/designers, and maintain required accuracy, quality, and TAT.
- Provide task-level technical guidance to Level 1 engineers and communicate project risks promptly.
- Incorporate internal and client review comments within defined timelines.

Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant structural engineering experience, OR




- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in steel design and/or tower design is preferred.
- Experience in telecommunication, transmission, or related steel-structure engineering will be an advantage.

Technical Skills
- Working proficiency in TNX, SolidWorks, RISA-3D, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and relevant connection analysis software.
- Working knowledge of AISC, TIA-222 and ASCE 7, including applicable loading requirements, load combinations and design checks.
- Strong understanding of:
- Analytical modelling
- Load paths
- Steel structural behaviour
- Member utilization
- Connection forces
- Foundation reactions
- Engineering drawings
- Ability to validate model inputs and results, identify unreasonable behaviour, document design assumptions, and prepare review-ready calculations.
- Practical exposure to telecommunication towers, transmission structures, traffic signal structures, luminaire structures, or similar steel structures is an advantage.

- Ability to resolve routine technical problems and appropriately escalate higher-risk issues.

- Ability to review junior-level work and communicate technical comments clearly.
