Key Responsibilities

- Perform hand stone setting on rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, bracelets, necklaces and other jewellery.

- Set diamonds, CZ and gemstones according to the given design and specifications.

- Handle different setting techniques such as Prong, Pave, Micro Pave, Bezel, Channel and other required settings. (Apna)

- Prepare and adjust stone seats/pockets for proper fitting.

- Ensure stones are properly aligned, levelled, secure and free from damage.

- Check jewellery before and after setting for loose stones, scratches, gaps and other defects.

- Maintain proper finishing and ensure the brilliance of stones is not affected.

- Use setting tools such as gravers, burs, tweezers, punches and other hand tools safely.

- Coordinate with polishing, finishing, CAD and production teams when required.

- Report damaged, defective or incorrectly sized stones to the supervisor.

- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workbench.





- Complete assigned production within the required quality and timeline.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of jewellery stone-setting techniques.

- Strong hand-eye coordination and steady hands.

- Good eyesight and excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to work with small diamonds and gemstones.

- Knowledge of jewellery construction and stone placement.

- Ability to identify loose, damaged or improperly set stones.

- Valuable finishing and quality-control skills.

- Patience and ability to work for extended periods at a jewellery bench.
