Subject: Engagement of Skill Trainers on Contractual Basis for Project UDAAN 4.0

Shikshodaya Foundation invites applications from qualified, skilled and passionate professionals for engagement as Contractual Skill Trainers under Project UDAAN 4.0 – Skill Hub.

The selected trainers will be responsible for delivering industry-oriented, practical and project-based skill education to students through UDAAN Skill Hubs and associated educational institutions.

1. POSITION DETAILS

Position: Skill Trainer

Project: UDAAN 4.0 – Skill Hub

Employment Type: Contractual / Part-Time / Visiting

Engagement Period: Initially 6–12 months, extendable based on performance and project requirement

Reporting To: Academic & Training Manager / Centre Coordinator

Work Location: UDAAN Skill Hubs / Partner Schools in Dhanbad and Asansol

Working Pattern: As per approved training schedule

Travel: May be required between assigned centres

Remuneration: Fixed monthly / Per-session / As approved for domain

2. DOMAINS FOR RECRUITMENT

Applications are invited for trainers in the following areas:

1. AI & Robotics (STEAM Trainer) - 01 Position

2. Finance and Management - 01 Position

3. ROLE OF THE CONTRACTUAL TRAINER The Trainer shall be responsible for effective delivery of assigned curriculum and development of practical skills among learners.

The role shall include

- Classroom teaching.
- Practical laboratory training.
- Demonstrations.
- Project-based learning.
- Student mentoring.
- Assignments and assessments.
- Industry-oriented activities.
- Student project guidance.
- Attendance and academic record maintenance.
- Supporting certification and assessment activities.
- Maintaining training quality.
- Supporting centre-level events and exhibitions.




- Providing feedback on student performance.
- Maintaining discipline during training sessions.

4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES A. Academic Delivery

- Follow the approved curriculum and lesson plan.
- Deliver assigned training hours.
- Conduct theory and practical sessions.
- Use activity-based and experiential learning.
- Ensure students receive adequate hands-on practice.
- Explain concepts according to the learners' level.
- Use appropriate digital teaching resources.

B. Practical Training The Trainer shall ensure maximum practical exposure through:

- Demonstrations
- Lab activities
- Hands-on exercises
- Mini projects
- Group projects
- Problem-solving activities
- Real-world case studies
- Capstone projects

C. Student Assessment The Trainer shall conduct:

- Class tests
- Practical assessments
- Assignments
- Quizzes
- Project evaluations
- Viva/oral assessments
- Periodic competency assessments

5. STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOME The Trainer shall be responsible not merely for completing the syllabus but for ensuring that students can demonstrate the skills taught. The key objective shall be:

Learn → Practice → Demonstrate → Build → Assess → Certify

6. ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Qualification

Qualification shall vary according to the technical domain.

AI & Robotics (STEM Trainer):

- Graduate / Postgraduate in relevant discipline; or
- Relevant professional certification with demonstrable industry experience.

Preferred

- B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Cybersecurity/AI/ Data Science




- NSQF/NSDC/DGT-aligned training experience.
- Industry certifications.
- Relevant teaching/training experience.
- Industry experience.

Finance and Management Trainer:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance/Accounts/Management; or
- Relevant professional certification with demonstrable industry experience.

Preferred

- CA (Inter)/CMA(Inter)/CA (Final)/CMA (Final)/MBA with Finance and Marketing specialisations/ M. Com/ B.Com
- NSQF/NSDC/DGT-aligned training experience.
- Industry certifications.
- Relevant teaching/training experience.
- Industry experience.

7. EXPERIENCE

Preferred Experience

- 1–5 years of relevant teaching/training experience; or
- Relevant industry experience with strong practical knowledge.

Freshers with exceptional technical skills, relevant certifications and good communication skills may also be considered for selected domains. 8. REQUIRED SKILLS The candidate should possess:

- Strong subject knowledge.
- Practical/hands-on knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
- Student-friendly teaching approach.
- Classroom management ability.
- Presentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans.
- Ability to conduct practical activities.
- Ability to mentor school students.
- Willingness to travel where required.
