Sonne Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Steel Draftsperson with 2–3 years of experience in structural steel drafting and detailing. The candidate should have knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro and structural steel drawings. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate technical drawings and coordinating with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare structural steel drawings, fabrication drawings and shop drawings.

- Create detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.

- Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings and structural detailing drawings.

- Read and interpret structural design drawings and engineering specifications.

- Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.

- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on project requirements.

- Assist in preparing steel fabrication and erection drawings.

- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and engineering standards.

- Maintain drawing records and update drawings as required.

- Support the engineering team in completing projects within deadlines.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Basic knowledge of STAAD.Pro.





- Knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings.

- Ability to read and understand structural engineering drawings.

- Knowledge of steel structures, connections and fabrication processes.

- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

- Relevant technical qualifications will also be considered.

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience as a Steel Draftsperson or Structural Steel Detailer.

- Experience in structural steel drafting and fabrication drawings is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of STAAD.Pro for structural analysis.

- Experience with structural steel projects.

- Knowledge of Tekla Structures will be an added advantage.
