Key Responsibilities

- Lead the electrical design and development of consumer electronics from concept through mass production.

- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and system architectures, with a focus on power efficiency, signal integrity, and manufacturability.

- Collaborate with industrial and mechanical engineering teams to integrate electronics into product enclosures.

- Select and qualify key components, sensors, power supplies, microcontrollers, and connectivity solutions (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB).

- Perform circuit simulation, validation, and testing to ensure compliance with safety, EMC/EMI, and regulatory standards (FCC, CE, UL, etc.).

- Drive prototype builds, design validation testing (DVT), and production readiness with internal and external manufacturing partners.

- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system-level issues during development, pilot runs, and mass production.

- Mentor junior engineers, review designs, and contribute to best practices and design standards.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in product design.

Qualifications

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.





- 8+ years of experience in electrical design for consumer electronics or similar industries.

- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and high-speed interfaces.

- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Cadence).

- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and test equipment.

- Experience with wireless standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.) is a robust plus.

- Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and working with overseas manufacturing partners.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with low-power embedded systems and IoT devices.

- Knowledge of battery technologies, charging circuits, and power optimization.

- Background in sensor integration (motion, environmental, optical, etc.).

Familiarity with safety and regulatory certification processes (UL, IEC, FCC, CE)
