Role Description The Solar Site Installation Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. This role involves supervising and executing the installation of solar plant equipment, including weather monitoring systems, sensors, data loggers, and associated electrical and mechanical components.

The engineer will interpret technical drawings, plan installation activities, coordinate with site teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing electrical wiring and terminations, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues,



and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role also requires preparing installation reports, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful commissioning and optimal performance of solar sites.

Qualifications

- Strong equipment installation skills, including hands-on experience with solar plant components and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles with practical experience in electrical wiring and system connections.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts related to mounting structures, enclosures, and field hardware.
- Experience in maintenance activities, including inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with solar power plant operations, SCADA systems, and safety standards for on-site work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and readiness to work in outdoor site conditions.
- Prior experience in solar installations or industrial field installations is highly beneficial.
