Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building backend systems on AWS.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, and related serverless components.
- Comfortable working within an AI-enabled Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), leveraging spec-driven development methodologies to accelerate delivery and improve engineering efficiency.
- Deep experience designing and supporting event-driven, distributed microservice architectures.
- Solid background in data modeling, persistence strategies, and data integrity across services.
- Experience implementing automated testing (unit, integration, and service-level tests).
- Advanced experience with .NET Core and C# for backend service development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail in production environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, ideally Terraform.
- Comfortable working in a scaled agile environment with CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS Certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
- Experience working with healthcare or insurance data in backend systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards and formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR, claims data models, HIPAA-compliant data handling).
